Peggy Gau - President - 678-446-8915
Peggy asked me to let everyone know that due to the problems with the Corvid-19 Virus and in order to take extra precautions and safety for our members, that our Regular RWHC meeting on April 9th and our intended Political Forum scheduled for April 16th will both be cancelled. It is hoped that everything will be back to normal by May but we will be in touch with everyone and let you know ahead of time. We hope and pray that everyone will take all the guidelines and adhere to the recommendations that have been supplied to us.
Please keep all those that have been effected by this awful virus and all those front line health care workers, first responders and all of the high risk, vulnerable population. Don't take any chances if you even think you might have symptoms, contact your doctor or County Health Department for advise. There are drive thru testing stations being set up if your doctor thinks it is necessary. For more information, see the Georgia Health Department's website at www.gnrhealth.com/covid-19-info . Additional information about COVID-19 can be found at https://dph.georgia.gov/ or https://cdc.gov . A contact if you need to talk to someone about a testing station or instructions is Chad Wasdin, PIO - 678-442-6909 his email is chad.wasdin.gnrhealth.com.
Closer to home, besides our sick members, please keep Vikki Consiglio our Asst Treasurer for the State GOP, prior member of Republican Women, who lives at Eagles Landing and is currently in the hospital fighting symptoms. She is a very sick girl and needs all our prayers. Please also pray for Cindy McNeill's brother who has tested positive to the virus and lives in Orlando. So many people have been effected in so many ways. Jobs closings, people loosing their livelihood, stock market plunging. Our economy was flying high and then we wake up one morning and it is a different world. We are a strong nations and will recover but it might not be overnight. So we need prayer now more than ever.
Blessings to everyone - stay safe - stay inside if possible, wash your hands often and if anyone has younger people or grandchildren or husbands, please remind them that they are not indestructible.
Hope to see you all in May if not sooner.
